Josep Jové Ribalta of Albet i Noya hosts an evening of wine tasting from their extensive organic range.
A glass of Cava, six wines to taste and a selection of food to complement the wines, all for just £5.00 per person.
As a relaxed introduction to the evening at 7.00pm, enjoy a glass of sparkling rosé with a taste of smoked salmon. There will be a short introductory talk starting at 7.30pm, followed by the wine tasting.
Here's what you are likely to experience:
Xarello: a local grape variety 'rediscovered' by the vineyard. It will be tasted with some goat's cheese.
Lignum: a lightly oaked Chardonnay will be tasted with sea food.
Tempranillo Classic: a big fruity wine using one of Spain's best known varieties, tasted with chorizo.
Lignum Red: a contrast to the Tempranillo, is a more refined earthy wine with a touch of cherry. Try it with Pork.
Finca La Minca: from the expensive end of the range, a rich wine that is complemented with blue cheese and figs.
