Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) was one of the most remarkable spiritual teachers of the 20th century and left a phenomenal holistic legacy in fields as varied as education, agriculture, and medicine. At the heart of his work was an understanding of karma and reincarnation, and a beautifully profound esoteric philosophy developed in thousands of lectures. This course is intended for anyone new to his work and also for those who wish to deepen their understanding of anthroposophy’s core teachings and basic practices. Topics include philosophy, human nature, the evolution of consciousness, Christ and higher beings, karma and rebirth, the arts, the creation of a healthy society, the renewal of education, psychology, Gaia and the future. This workshop includes Steiner’s meditation exercises, which lie at the very core of anthroposophy’s path of knowledge and the practice of eurythmy The contemplative and artistic work we do together enriches our soul lives with insight.

Note: Recommended books: The New Essential Steiner (Robert McDermott, editor) and Start Now! (Christopher Bamford, editor).
