Galerie Thomas Modern in Türkenstrasse 16 is dedicated to the presentation of advanced and younger artists from the contemporary field.
Tying in with the gallery’s history, the works of significant artists of Pop Art are represented, as well as their colleagues of Abstract American Art from the 50s to the 80s, and representatives of Minimal Art. Furthermore, Galerie Thomas Modern showcases distinct, individual positions of the important German artists of recent times—Georg Baselitz, Joseph Beuys, Anselm Kiefer, Gerhard Richter, or Sigmar Polke—and also more recent figures of the international art scene such as Peter Halley or Wim Delvoye as well as other unexpected contemporary positions.
