Join us for an evening lecture and a full Saturday based on Steiner’s Philosophy of Freedom with Prof. Dr. Marcelo da Veiga of Alanus University in Germany.
The workshop will explore the Field Centre’s undertaking to evolve modern consciousness from common rationality to spiritual research and contemplative inquiry. In this sense the Field Centre has been designed in its architecture as well as in its idea of research as an experimental environment from which innovative impulses for education can emerge. Thus the inner impulse and the outer form of the building intend to constitute a unity. Phenomenological thinking, especially when it is directed to the comprehension of the cognitive processes, plays a crucial role as it is bridging the gap between the consciousness bound to sensory perception and a modern way of spiritual awareness. This seminar is an invitation to Ruskin Mill Trust staff and to the broader community to take part in this exciting endeavour of building a solid spiritual basis for the unique architectural environment that is to host the idea of an innovative research culture.
