Beuys The pack (Das Rudel)
The New Gallery, Kassel, Germany re-opens on 24 November 2011. This is the Gallery that houses Joseph Beuys' 'The pack (Das Rudel)' along with four display cases, 29 drawings and 7 'sculpture pictures'. First issued on loan, the ensemble was bought with the support of the Hessian Arts Council and the cultural foundation of the countries in 1993. The collection also includes nine multiples, such as the self portrait from 1972, titled "La rivoluzione siamo Noi" (We are the Revolution).
